Privacy policy

No accounts. Pitchle doesn't ask for your name, email or any login. Your game progress and stats are stored in your browser's local storage on your device and are never sent to our servers.

Guesses. When you guess, the player you picked and the puzzle number are sent to our server so the guess can be checked against the answer. We don't store guesses or link them to you.

Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic request details (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use these logs to identify you.

Images. Player photos and club crests load directly from Wikimedia Commons, so your browser connects to Wikimedia's servers when they're shown. Wikimedia's own privacy policy applies to those requests.

Advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Clearing your data. Clearing your browser's site data removes all Pitchle progress.
